Here's a little experiment I tried using Photoshop and a pencilled Superman commissioned piece I did last year. I basically converted the grayscale to color and adjusted the color balance on the separate pieces of the costume and exposed skin. Not as well rendered as a full painting, but it does make for an interesting look. I dedicate this to Danny Kelley and Jonathan Carroll
