Description
We’ve spent an amazing two years with Garfield and the gang, so of course we’re going to bring you an extra-large sized anniversary issue, full of two all-new jumbo stories, to celebrate! First, Mark Evanier and Andy Hirsch team up to tell a tale of a very special day in Garfield’s life. Then, Scott Nickel and David DeGrand join forces for the return of Garfield’s food foes; this time, they’ve all joined forces to take down the Fat Cat once and for all! And if THAT isn’t enough, the legendary George Pérez does this issue’s variant cover!

Finally revealed! My other unusual cover that I drew last year for BOOM!'s young reaaders line KABOOM. Issue 25 of GARFIELD. I was so happy that the charcater's creator Jim Davis was happy with this. Talk about a totally different style. I actually drew this before I drew the HEROBEAR cover and was still working with only one eye. I think the last time I had to draw established cartoon characters was a cover of MIGHTY MOUSE parodying my CRISIS #7 cover. Always nice to be challenged.'
