PRINTING ALERT: DC’s Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds #1 – 2nd Printing

FINAL CRISIS: LEGION OF THREE WORLDS #1 (2nd Print) (Sep 2008) |
You just can’t keep a super-powered villain down – or out of the 31st century, apparently.
Last seen in Green Lantern’s epic “The Sinestro Corps War” story, Superboy-Prime makes his deadly return in DC Comics’ Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds #1,
the start of five-part limited series that quickly sold out at the
distribution level (though copies may still be available in local
stores).
In order to accommodate demand for the issue, DC has announced it will release a Final Crisis: Legion of Three Worlds #1 – Second Printing
(JUL08 8181, $3.99), featuring a recolored version of the art from
series illustrator George Pérez and making its way to comic shops on September 24.
Joined by Pérez, writer Geoff Jones begins the Crisis of the 31st
century with this 40-page, full-color issue, as Superboy-Prime lands in
a future structured upon Superman’s influence.
Seeing
potential in the rage of this young doppelganger, the Time Trapper may
finally have the weapon he needs to erase Kal-El’s impact on the
universe.
Now Superman and the Legion of Super-Heroes will face their darkest
hour – requiring more firepower than any one Legion can provide. But
what about three?
No
fan of the Legion of Super-Heroes or readers that missed picking up
this issue during its first printing run should miss this opportunity
to see how far reaching Final Crisis really is, so be sure to
pencil in a trip to your local comic shop on September 24 before this
futuristic issue is once again a thing of the past!
