INFINITE CRISIS #5 GOES BACK TO PRESS FOR SECOND PRINTING!
March 8th, 2006
As INFINITE CRISIS nears its stunning
conclusion, DC Comics announces that the sold out fifth issue is going
back to press for a second printing.
INFINITE CRISIS #5 reprints the story by
Geoff Johns, with art by Phil Jimenez, Jerry Ordway, Ivan Reis, Andy
Lanning, and Art Thibert. The new printing features a pencils-only
version of the issue's cover by George Pérez.
"It's great to be involved in a project
like INFINITE CRISIS on a professional level, but the fan in me is just
as thrilled to see the story unfold issue by issue as well," says
Ordway. "On the original CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS, I was saddened by
the loss of the Earth-2 Superman to DC's active continuity, as he is
such a vital link back to Joe Shuster's original visual concept. Being
able to draw this Superman again in such an emotional sequence (scripted
by Geoff) has been tremendous fun. News of the brisk sell-through is
like the icing on the cake!"
