Because whoever sent up the ad took heroes from the back cover and added them into the front cover digitally. So where you see Flash's earpiece on the left side of the image that is where he really should be. This is a common practice in advertising to make the ad more appealing and to work better as a teaser image. Sorry you guys will just have to wait to see the true wraparound cover image whenever Marvel & DC finally decided to release the real McCoy.

I just finished page 33 of issue #1.

    Best..

Next week's JLA/JSA Secret Files & Origins #1 features sample artwork from George Perez from JLA/Avengers. The crossover remains unscheduled, but writer Kurt Busiek on Wednesday told The Continuum it's "coming along just fine, so far."

Advertisment reads: "BUSIEK. PEREZ. JLA AVENGERS. The World's Greatest Super-Heroes meet Earth's Mightiest Heroes in an epic 4-issue miniseries decades in the making. It'll be worth the wait."

From ES: The art shown in the secret files is the same picture shown at the Baltimore comic-con. The preview page is the last page of the secret files issue. It is a advertisement for the project, no release date given though. The Secret Files issue was in the preview stack for next weeks comics.

    From Vu

Thanks to ES who pointed this out, but the JLA/JSA SECRET FILES #1 has been pushed back to November 20th. (Originally listed as "64 pages, $4.95, in stores on Nov. 6".)

See DC Comics: JLA/JSA SECRET FILES #1 for more details.

Also, I think everyone pretty much have guessed that this issue will preview the cover to JLA/AVENGERS (as it was already unveiled at the Baltimore Comic Convention - but also because Tom Smith have mentioned that we are going to see it "Marvel and DC are planning to show off the cover to #1 sometime soon though", via the Avengers Comicboard).

Comics Continuum has the DC solicitations for November, you may want to post a link or copy the info about the JLA/JSA secret files issue.

The prelude to the most anticipated team-up of the year. Artist Steve Sadowski returns to the exploits of the JSA, joining David S. Goyer and Wizard Fan Award-winning writer Geoff Johns to reveal surprising connections between DC's two greatest super-teams (inked by Andrew Pepoy), setting the stage for the explosive JLA/JSA: Virtue & Vice hardcover. Plus: Metamorpho returns to life (written by Rich Hedden with art by Phil Winslade); the JLA and the JSA fight over which team gets a member of Young Justice (written by Jim Beard with art by Clement Sauve & Serge LaPointe); and Chase uncovers the secret behind the mole hunt that has weaved through this year's Secret Files issues (written by Dan Curtis Johnson & J.H. Williams III with art by Kelly Yates & Mick Gray). Also: Aquaman writer Rick Veitch offers a prelude to the new series in a short story illustrated by Dietrich Smith; and a brief preview of JLA/Avengers with art by George Peréz. All this plus profiles of some of the two team's newest members, allies, and more.

64 pages, $4.95, in stores on Nov. 6.
