The art at thefandomzone.tumblr below appeared as a foldout within the pages of Justice League of America (2006) #7.

The art is cut off a bit at the corners -- the comic itself has more of George's artwork near the bottom left corner.

Green Lantern and Flash, featured characters of this release

Following the tragic events and startling revelations of DC Comics’ 2004 limited series Identity Crisis and its 2005-2006 follow-up Infinite Crisis, venerated team, the Justice League of America, was disbanded. But the world is always in need of heroes, and soon core JLA founding members Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman met to discuss creating the team anew.

ANATOMY OF A COVER: ERIC WIGHT ON JLA #7

    by Troy Brownfield

    (excerpt)

Newsarama: Clearly, they each have their time with the League, but how did the process work?

Eric Wight: I’m not sure of the exact order, but I drew my column, which was then sent to Perez to draw his, which was then sent to MacDonnell. Since we were working on two covers, we had two boards being drawn on at the same time. And while all of that was happening, Benes was drawing his layer separately to then be placed on top.

Here it is, the cover to JLA #7, courtesy of Eric Wight, George Perez, Luke McDonnell, Kevin Maguire, Howard Porter, Gene Ha, and Ed Benes. And yes, that's the issue where they get the new headquarters.

Writers need to know when to shut up, so I'm letting the image speak for itself.

Thanks to Eric Wight for the brilliant design.

...and, the preview for this week's JLA is up at Newsarama. Reddy vs. Grundy....Amazo vs. The League. Enjoy the carnage.

Just got the first half of the JLA #7 cover. I say this with much restraint: if we pull this off, it's my favorite cover of all time. Eric Wight is a genius for what he designed. And wait till you see the George Perez and Luke McDonnell parts.
