    • Teen Titans Go! Celebrates 200 Episodes From washingtonpost.com TEEN TITANS GO! TO THE MOVIES (27 Jul 2018) Cartoon Network Excerpt: “A lot of comic book fans maybe look down at our show for not being so serious,” Jelenic said. “But at the same time it’s all these younger fans [of ‘Teen Titans Go!’] who are what’s going to keep comic books going for the next generation.” For now, Michael Jelenic and Aaron Horvath can celebrate Friday’s 200th episode, in which they star as animated versions of themselves taking a break from writing, forcing the Titans to write the episode themselves or fade from existence. The pair also recently announced a “Teen Titans Go!” movie arriving in theaters in 2018.

Romeo Tanghal is a name I constantly saw credited as inker of Marv Wolfman and George Perez's "New Teen Titans". Before that Tanghal also did pencils for "House of Mystery" and later on became an inker for books like "Batman", "Captain Atom", "Doctor Fate", "Justice League of America", "Green Lantern", "Wonder Woman", "Dazzler", and "Thor."

Since I was born in 1972, I only got to see the works of these great artists as badly reprinted editions or as sample pages in "The History of Komiks." Thankfully, some of their work has been reprinted in trade paperbacks, although most are lost in some back issue bin or in some kid's toy chest.

    Dear Titans Fans!

We have lots of news and this go-around, so let's get started.

    (excerpt)

…Other Titans news! Sometime this season you'll be seeing The Titans all over the TV tube. Tying in with our special anti-drug comic, Hannah-Barbera will be unleashing a one-minute Titans anti-drug cartoon spot which should be shown on all three networks, most likely during Saturday morning. There will also be 30-second and 20-second version of the public service announcement. We received a call from their design department, asking for a whole slew of George's designs, so the Titans should look just about prefect. Next summer should also be a special Titans time. Not only will we have our traditional annual - this time revealing the origin of, well we'll tell you who some other time - but the Titans will also be the guest stars in the DC PRESENTS ANNUAL, featuring our favorites and a certain unnamed Man of Steel. I'll be writing the story, and if deadlines permit, George will be handling the art! Definitely something to look forward to.

    - Marv Wolfman
