THE NEW TEEN TITANS PAINTER'S CAP. TM & (C) DC Comics Inc. 1984. Artwork by George Perez. White cloth hat with red, cardboard bill. Bill has white piping around it. Artwork has been screenprinted. Over the years, mildew got to the hat in storage. There are a few yellowed spots. Not too bad. I feel a professional cleaner could remove them. In a few places, the screen print is beginning to flake off. It too is not all that bad. Otherwise, the hat is in excellent condition. It has never been worn. I bought it on a whim at my comic shop (hey it was the 80's and those hats were popular). But I never did wear it. I guess that sometimes a geek has his limits (and wants to avoid an ass whipping). This hat has been stored in a dark and smoke-free environment for 21 years. This is a real nice Titans/ George Perez item. It is very unusual and not many were made. This hat has become quite HARD-TO-FIND over the last several years and has become quite RARE! In fact, I haven't seen another of these hats since 1986. There is NO RESERVE on this item.
