UP 'N COMING! #43
(Aug 1994)

Attached is the flip cover to
Up'n Coming! #43 (for Aug. '94 releases). This was a catalogue put out
by distributor Styx Publications. Inside there's a 2-page interview
with UltraForce writer Gerard Jones, and George is briefly mentioned:
>>>
Shaun McLaughlin: I was going to ask if working with George was part of the attraction.
Gerard Jones:
It was. When the process started, they weren't sure if he'd be able to
do the first few issues or the whole first arc. Now he's going to be
with us until issue #6, so that was very attractive. I liked working
with him on Break-Thru, and I thought this would be a lot more fun
because Break-Thru had a lot of stuff that had to be done because it
was a crossover. I thought this would give us a little more freedom.
McLaughlin: Is he taking part in the plotting as well?
Jones:
Not so far, but as we go along and the stuff that I've written gets
taken care of, I expect there to be a little more "back and forth." In
fact, I did the first chunk as a full script, which is kind of rare for
George to work from, but I felt I needed that control.
