    • R.I.P. William Vance (XIII) Vu: I've just learned that Belgium artist William Vance has died on May 14, 2018, suffering from Parkinson's disease. He was 82. Vance was known for co-creating XIII (13), a sort of French/Belgium version of the Bourne Identity, in 1984. The XIII follows the story of an amnesiac protagonist who is trying to learn his true identity. XIII was adapted to a first-person shooter by Ubi Soft Paris in 2003, and also adapted for television in 2008, and followed by two series... with each series having, what else?, 13 episodes.     The Avengers are about to become "Captives of the Collector." This art wasn't signed, but a Marvel authority has informed us that Dave Cockrum was the artist for this preliminary scene (George Perez is credited for the finished cover art). This piece has an image area of 6.75" x 10.25", and aside from a glue stain over the Iron Man figure, its condition is Very Good.
