    • R.I.P. William Vance (XIII) Vu: I've just learned that Belgium artist William Vance has died on May 14, 2018, suffering from Parkinson's disease. He was 82. Vance was known for co-creating XIII (13), a sort of French/Belgium version of the Bourne Identity, in 1984. The XIII follows the story of an amnesiac protagonist who is trying to learn his true identity. XIII was adapted to a first-person shooter by Ubi Soft Paris in 2003, and also adapted for television in 2008, and followed by two series... with each series having, what else?, 13 episodes. Rest in peace, William Vance. Artists who died in 2018: 6 May (1) [14 May 2018] William Vance (Belgian comics artist for XIII, Bob Morane ...

    Mike asks

Did George Perez do the inks over John Buscma's pencils for RUNE: SILVER SURFER #1 for the cover ONLY? or, did George Perez also do the inks for the 22-page story drawn by John Buscema inside RUNE: SILVER SURFER #1? Bill Anderson is credited for the inks but I heard that was an error? Do you know anything about this? Comics.org states, "Perez credit from http://www.george-perez.com/. Original indexer had listed Bill Anderson as inker. Error pointed out by FlashJay through the GCD Errors list, July 2009."

Thank you for helping me to clear this up.
    Mike

Vu: I actually own both version of the book (but not the Spanish reprint).  The last time I updated this item was on 10/28/2006 04:30:50 with the correct information (listed below).

George Perez only inked the back cover to RUNE/SILVER SURFER - interior inks are by Bill Anderson.
