Oddly, this uses redrawn and newly colored art, "inspired by George Perez and Alfredo Alcala." The new "artist" is not credited, but the colorist is Ariane. -------------------------------

THE INCREDIBLE HULK AND WOLVERINE #1 (Oct 1986)

Missing from the checklist: The Incredible Hulk and Wolverine #1, which was the first time that the Perez-inked tale from Marvel Treasury Edition #26 was reprinted. It was later reprinted again in Wolverine Battles the Incredible Hulk .

Here's a better quality scan of the cover to Computer Gaming World #93 (April 1992).

    From Vu
I got the latest Computer Gaming World #199 (Feb 01) [ see their website ] in the mail a while back, but I finally had the time to go through it. Their featured article is about comic books and video games and this was on their sidebar:

What Diabolical Scheme Is Afoot Here?
El Diablo Believe it or not, only one superhero game (that wasn't by Acclaim) has made it to the PC in the last 10 years. Here are some noticeable non-starts that promised much, but ultimately delivered nothing at all.

Champions (Hero Software) Debuting on the cover of the April 1992 issue of Computer Gaming World, it promised to "focus on the psychological drama and story elements of the graphic storytelling art found in comic books." Ironically, that article featured a sidebar on the sparse history of comic book oriented computer games.

Yes, that is a George Perez cover. Also, I have two scans ("Enemies" and "Olympian Gods") from the CHAMPIONS series, but I haven't had the time to organize it.
