Even though it really wasn’t unexpected, the death of Stan Lee has hit me harder than I thought. He was the first comic book creator I ever saw by face. He inspired me to both read and eventually create comics myself. He gave my first raise and always took the time at conventions to come over and say hello to me. At one time he said he regarded me as a nephew ...

AMAZING COMIC CON ALOHA 2019 (22-24 Feb 2019)

Just a reminder, George Perez is retired. He's not seeking work or asking to be interviewed. If you really want to interview or ask any questions, the best advice I can give you is to see him in person and talk to him. George will be appearing at conventions in 2019.

In the past few years, he's only done a handful of interviews:
    • Unknown: Comic Book Fever Interview (book released June 2016)
    • Dec 2016: Teen Titans: Judas Contract video (DC flew George to Hollywood with Marv Wolfman) - film was released in Apr 2017
    • Jun 2017: SyFy Wire Interview (they filmed George at home in Florida)
    • Aug 2017: Unbound Interview (to promote Fetishcon 2017)
    • Feb 2018: Uncanny Universe Interview (to promote a signing at Bedrock City Comic)
    • Apr 2018: DC Daily Interview (flew Marv and George to DC office to promote DC Universe Streaming) - First interview aired Aug 2018
    • Apr 2018: Nerdist Interview (likely conducted during Marv and George's visit to DC Office) - published May 2018
    • Aug 2018: Rob66 Interview at Fetishcon 2018 (to promote Sisterhood of Superheroines video)

Let me know if I'm missing anything.

In a statement, show organiser Jimmy Hay stated “We were disappointed to cancel our original dates due to circumstances beyond our control but we are happy to be able to announce replacement dates expeditiously. Hawaii has been great to us and we can’t wait to come back in February 2019 with some of our original guests and all new talent to share their Aloha spirit with the people of Hawaii!!”

Refunds are not yet being issued, and the show is evading direct questions about that. rather attendees who purchased tickets and packages for the original show will be able to use their already purchased tickets for the rescheduled dates. For everyone else, tickets will go on sale beginning after Labor Day from $25.
