Wow! December sure looks like it's going to be one busy month. In addition to all the usual (and unusual) Holiday festivities, there are a few standoius coming up. This Friday, Dec. 5th, I've been given the honor of emceeing a night of belly dance called Boom Boom Shake.

Among the performers are Florida Tribal Dance founder, teacher and guiding spirit Lacey Sanchez and my own personal private dancer, my wife Phoenicia. This should be quite a blast. It's a great honor being the husband of a belly dancer.

On December 10th, I will be doing my last comics-related public appearance for 2014 when I do a signing at the Coliseum of Comics at the Mall of Millennia in Orlando, FL. This signing is to commemorate the release of of SIRENS #2 and will take place from 1pm to 4pm.

As an added bonus, my beautiful niece Camille Elizabeth Bishop (the model for the Siren called Ammo) will be attending with me and hopefully getting to autograph copies of the book. This is the first comics event for Milla since completing her religious mission earlier this year (and before she gets married in January) so I am especially thrilled about this!

And these are just two events among the more than half dozen fun happenings this month. Yeah, it really is beginning to look a lot like Christmas.
