Description
Moonlight Players is proud to open their 2017/2018 season with KISMET!
In a tale that could have come straight out of 1001 Arabian Nights, Kismet follows the stories of poor street poet Hajj (Alfred Howard), his beautiful daughter Marsinah (Annalisa Brawdy), the handsome young Caliph (Curtis D Brawdy Jr), the deceptive Wazir (Mark Thibeau), and the Wazir's seductive wife, Lalume (Denise Danielle Truscott).
Young lovers find each other then are separated, possibly forever. A
death sentence turns into a job promotion. Fortunes rise and fall with
the sands of time. One overarching theme, can any man really escape his
destiny? With extreme cleverness and a fair amount of luck, Hajj is
willing to try.
Show runs August 18th-September 10th. Friday/Saturday shows at 8pm, Sunday shows at 2:30pm
Directed by: Cathy McEachern
Poster by: George Pérez
