Pinochio November 18, 2011 – December 11, 2011 Director James “Scotty” Schultz
Take the hijinks of the commedia dell'arte, add those zany characters including Geppetto, Fire Eater, Fox and Cat, and the most wonderful Blue Fairy imaginable then mix in a nonstop adventure, and you're all set to raise the curtain. The house-on-fire pacing will leave you breathless, the hilarious comedy will leave you laughing, and some unexpectedly touching moments will leave you loving this Pinocchio even more. By William Glennon. With permission of Dramatists Publishing.
From George Perez: When I actually draw the finished piece I hope to make it look like a painted wood carving. I drew the original in pencil tones and then converted it to color digitally. I used the same method to color the Dragon*Con piece.
