ARCHIE 50 TIMES AN AMERICAN ICON HC (Mar 2011)
The book arrived today.

The verdict: Not really worth it.

It's about sixty pages of pinups and a reprint of Archie #600 (which I already own), but even going through each page very slowly, it won't take you very long to get through. I read it from cover to cover and it took about five minutes.  Surprisingly thin for something that's 96 pages. Since most of the sketches are done in black & white, it seems wasted on the nice glossy pages - although whenever you do see images in color, they really pop.

Also, not really crazy about the cover choice either, I would've personally gone with Norm Breyfogle or Jerry Ordway.

It's for a charity, so when you get this book, consider it, more or less, a donation - except you get to keep something in return! However, if you were looking for entertainment, then spend that $25 (the cost of the hardcover and shipping comes to $35) on a Bluray movie or the latest Punisher trade and you'll get more value out of that.
