As you know, we’re big George Perez fans, so it’s with a sad note that I pass along George’s statement about his retirement. After this 2019 convention…

Yesterday I had the great pleasure of sharing a lunch and memories with my brother David who flew in from Taos, NM to see me and visit our parents in southern Florida. It was a joyous reunion since David and I had not seen each other in over a year and we can't know whether we'd ever be seeing each other again. Although, knowing my kid brother, it's more likely that we will. I love him so much!

Later that day. My doctor, my wife Carol and I spoke about what I could expect when I reach that point she calls End-of-Life. Despite the rather rather somber specifics, I found myself rather at peace with the information. Knowledge is power and I feel stronger by knowing what to do when my body's signals call out to let me know that mu journey's end is just around the corner.

Of course, I intend to make a lot of stops along the way, seeing as many friends, family and fans that I can possibly fit in. Some dear friends will even be driving Carol and me to southern Florida (five hours away) so that we can spend New Years with my 90 year old parents, further proof of how lucky I am to have engendered the affection of such generous and loving friends.

A truly magical day--one, I'm sure, of many more to come.🥰
