Just a correction to the post about the Judge Dredd cover. While it’s true that I used an old piece of Tekno Comics paper, the actual drawing was done in 2018. This wasn’t the first time I’ve used old paper stock for a modern drawing. I even sill have some boards that date back to the 1970s! No sense in wasting perfectly good paper, y’know.

I've suspected that this Judge Dredd cover was drawn in the 90s, and my suspicion is confirmed with this original black and white artwork. Note the paper provided by Tekno Comix and copyright date of 1995. At this time, George was drawing I-Bots (he also designed the characters). The Dredd artwork was eventually published in 2000 AD PROG #2100 (UK) (25 Sep 2018).

Perez covers Judge Dredd for the first (and only) time!

Dredd must save Judge Cassandra Anderson from clutches of the Dark Judges - Judge Death, Judge Fear, Judge Fire and Judge Mortis

One of George's last covers before retirement, I personally think he knocked it out of the park (per usual)!
