Reminder that I will be flying to California today.  If you're in the Santa Monica area (Los Angeles), and want to say hi, just email me and we can grab coffee or something.

Also, I did pick up my iPad.  I really think this is the future of comics.  As much as I like collecting certain titles, there are some I just want to read and not have to pay a lot of money for them.  At the moment, DC Comics is still not on board with digital comics.  Come on, DC, you're killing me.

You can get Marvel Comics from several applications, but Marvel's own application is not bad.  Not great, though.  Missing feature is the ability to just search (and not have to drill down through categories).  The other thing is: they only have old comics.  Very disappointed in the availability of their titles.

What I would love to see is a subscription model.  Like a year of a title for $10.  I don't like paying $2 per issue, it seems expensive when I can pay a dollar or two and get a printed book (with the built-in ability to lend/give away or re-sell the item).

PS: Also still no George Perez titles.
