After a long break from the original George Perez website, I have decided to come back with a new version of my original GPz site. This new version will emphasize more on collaborative work, since it functions like a wiki. Unlike the wild west of wikipedia, this will not be open to the public - and will require logins from me. If you're interested in contributing, please contact me.
The break was good for me, as updating the original GPz website was a real hassle for me, and it was a nightmare if I was traveling as the original website requires authorization via an encrypted FTP software (which I didn't always have access to while on the road with my laptop or via a public computer).
Version 4 is all about mobile (in fact, I'm typing this on my laptop while watching Star Trek) and its on-the-fly formatting and editing.
News are basically excerpt from other websites, as we've previously have done in the past. What I'm really excited about is a hierarchy structure to the checklist. For instance, ACTION COMICS is filed under SUPERMAN, etc. Also, super excited about the search feature! Test it out!
Just to let you know that I am still working on weheartmusic.com.

About this website
Version 4.0: August 2011
|
This is more or less an official George Pérez website.
However, I am not affiliated with Gorilla Comics, CrossGen Comics,
Marvel Comics, DC Comics, or George Perez, personally. In other words,
I am not paid to promote a certain comic book company or creators.
Opinions expressed through this webpage are by me and its respective
contributors.
Please contribute!
I love even the smallest mentioning of George Perez - don't believe me ? See item 000823-2. So nothing is too minor to be mentioned.
I've been into George Perez since the first time I bought "Crisis On Infinite Earths #1"
! I started collecting his various artwork (anything from pencilling,
to inking, to scripting), but I found out that I have let things slip
by me (like all the Malibu Comics! Haha), it's not that I wasn't
interested, it was that I was VERY uninformed of Perez's activities
outside of Marvel or DC. The reasonings for this is most comic book
stores only order Marvel or DC because they know this is what sells.
They don't bother (or limit their ordering) with smaller publications.
With this website, I am hoping to keep myself (and you) informed of his
future projects and releases. The "coming up" section on the frontpage
have been really helpful to me, and I request my comic book stores to
order specifically those titles.
Please
ask permission or give credit if you plan to use any information or
images off of this webpage. Although, I don't normally ask for
permission to use information and/or images, I do always try and give
credit where it's due.
History
I mainly design my websites for Mozilla FoxFire,
but they should look just as well, if not better, on Internet Explorer
or Mozilla/FireFox/Netscape. I urge you to download Mozilla's latest
FoxFire browser, it is by far the BEST of all the browsers I've tested
out, especially since I'm a power user when it comes to browsing. As
you can see my early attempts in 1998 weren't very good. I am content
with version 2 for the moment.
